February 2026 SENPRO round up

SENPRO is built for sports nutritionists and online nutrition coaches who want a single platform to manage clients, deliver group or team-wide education programmes, build personalised and periodised nutrition plans — all in one place. Here's what's new.

It's an extraordinary time we're living in right now with the rapid evolution of AI. With its undoubted potential to unlock new levels of productivity, we've been exploring and actively harnessing AI within SENPRO in two areas:

  1. How we develop SENPRO — in other words, how we use AI internally, from capturing and understanding user insights, to developing specifications and prototypes for our team to build from.
  2. User-facing AI tools — such as AI food photo scanning, smart swaps, and meal plan generation. These are the features both coaches and their clients will interact with directly, all of which harness AI, and we'll have more to share on these soon.

At the same time, we've spent several months focusing on the development of our core underlying architecture and are pleased to share that SENPRO now supports businesses, teams and organisations operating with multiple team members. That's a fundamental shift in what our nutrition coaching software can do, and we want to walk you through it. Continue reading to the end to find out other improvements we've made along the way!

New feature! Add your team members to SENPRO with Organisations

Supporting growing businesses, teams and organisations with multiple team members

Goodbye to the days of shared logins in SENPRO! This significant development aimed to support the growth of existing coaches within SENPRO who wanted to scale their business, but required the additional guardrails in place to facilitate the onboarding of new coaches. At the same time, these efforts now allow us to support sports nutritionists working within a sports team or academy, or any nutrition coaching business scaling beyond a solo practice.

If you're a solo coach, nothing changes — SENPRO still works exactly as you'd expect and is an excellent choice for delivering highly personalised and periodised coaching.

But if you're running a business with multiple team members, you can now easily manage them within your Organisation.

We've introduced four distinct roles:

  1. Owner
  2. Admin
  3. Coach
  4. Client

Each role has carefully defined permissions across the platform to ensure correct content and client visibility across coaches.

  • As the Owner, you have full visibility across your entire organisation. You can see every coach's clients, every piece of content, and every report. You invite new team members and assign them their role.
  • Admins closely mirror the Owner's functionality, albeit without Billing access.
  • Coaches see only their own clients they've been assigned to within the organisation. They can create their own recipes and resources, but they can't edit content belonging to other coaches within the organisation's shared library.
  • Clients continue to interact with their assigned coaches through the web-platform and mobile app, completely unaffected by the organisational structure above them.

What makes this powerful is that these permissions run through every screen and every action. Content publishing, message filtering, planner views, client assignment all respect the organisational boundaries you've set up. When an Owner, Admin or Coach logs in, they see everything contained within their Organisation and based on their role.

We also built an organisation switcher, so if you coach under your own brand and also work within a larger organisation, you can move between contexts without logging out.

This has been a significant project spanning several months and helps lay the foundation for how SENPRO will grow as a client management platform for coaching businesses.

Improvements! Food logging

Your clients spend a lot of their time in the planner, so we shipped several improvements to make logging in the planner that bit easier for clients in our mobile app.

  • Recipes can now be added to the planner directly from the library. Previously, clients had to open a planner block first, then search for a recipe. Now they can browse their recipe library, tap a recipe they like, and add it straight to a specific day and block.
  • For recipes already in the planner, clients can now edit the portion in place — tap the recipe in the block, adjust the portion, and save — rather than deleting and re-adding it.
  • Activities can also now be edited after they've been logged.
  • We've introduced the copy function to the block, enabling clients to easily repeat common meals across the week.

Small changes individually, but together they make the daily meal planning experience for coaches and clients noticeably smoother.

New feature! Group habit tracking and planner reports

We shipped two new reporting views within the Group Management that allow coaches to get a snapshot view of client activity across the habit tracker and planner.

The Habit Tracking Report gives you a dedicated page to review how your clients are progressing with their assigned habits over a 7 and 30 day rolling period.

The Group Planner Report lets you view planner compliance across a group of clients in one place, rather than checking each client individually. A simple scoring system allows compliance to be quantified.

New integration! Sync data from Apple Health and Android Health Connect

SENPRO now integrates directly with Apple Health and Android Health Connect, joining the growing number of nutrition coaching apps that connect with device-level health data. Clients can connect their accounts to SENPRO, enabling automatic syncing of weight, steps, and sleep data. Once connected, data syncs each time the app is opened by the client — no manual entry required. This gives coaches visibility into metrics that previously relied on clients self-reporting.

SENPRO only reads data — it never writes to a client's health account — and clients choose exactly which metrics to share (currently restricted to weight, sleep and steps). They can update or revoke permissions at any time through their device's health settings.

We've also upgraded the progress screen within the app to provide a cleaner graph experience, introducing week, month, and year tabbed views so clients can spot trends at the right level of detail.

What's Coming Next

We're currently working on:

  • Expansion of our food databases — which will dramatically increase the number of searchable food items available to your clients when barcode scanning, and in preparation for our upcoming AI food scanning functionality.
  • AI-assisted food photo logging/scanning, smart swaps, programming and recipe creation — these are some of the most time-consuming tasks coaches carry out. We're harnessing AI to make them significantly faster for coaches and clients.
  • Configurable Metrics — the ability for coaches to track any metric beyond weight, such as sleep, energy, steps, or custom metrics.

Thanks for being part of the SENPRO journey! If you have questions about any of these updates, or if you'd like help setting up your organisation, reach out to us, we'd love to hear from you.
